Meghalaya Civil Defence & Home Guard Eligibility Criteria 2024
Below are the eligibility criteria, including educational qualifications and age limits, for the positions of Sub-Inspector, Guardsman, Driver, and Non-Combatant Employee.
- Sub-Inspector:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized University or Institution.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be between 20 to 27 years of age as of March 15, 2024.
- Guardsman and Equivalent Ranks:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed Class IX.
- Age Limit: The age of applicants should be between 18 to 27 years as of March 15, 2024.
- Driver:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class IX and hold a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) or Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving license issued by the competent authority.
- Age Limit: Applicants should be between 18 to 32 years old as of March 15, 2024.
- Non-Combatant Employee (NCE):
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed Class V.
- Age Limit: The age of applicants should be between 18 to 32 years as of March 15, 2024.
For candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories, there is a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit.
